But a 12-year-old boy from Melbourne, Beckham Baker, has a different craze for this sport and is a football champion. The Spanish club noticed his expertise in football during their Junior Academy Programme in Melbourne. - This young Prodigy was also trained with the English club just at the age of 8 years. From the age of 9, he was trained 4 to 5 times per week with the academy as well as played fixtured games during the season.
- He became a part of a four-player group that traveled to Spain with other players- Jordan Olds, Noah Alessi, and Andrew Pothitos.
- While training with Villarreal’s U11’s and U12’s, his impeccable performance received a whopping 10-page report from the club.
- Baker has been selected by the Etihad City Football Academy, Melbourne as a member of the Melbourne City FC’s Academy program.
- He is currently playing for Melbourne City FC U13. This young boy is the youngest NIKE athlete member.
