He was showing his artistic potential since he was a child. According to his mother, Sandy Pierce, “I knew when Dylan was three-years-old that he was artistic.” In his teenage, he loves football, rollerblading, reading, and mountain biking. Despite all this, he is also an “Art Prodigy.” His mother has once said in an interview about an incident. When Dylan was nine years old, he has an art competition with her mother, and he won.

Love for Wildlife Art:
He decided to specialize in wildlife art when he was ten years old. According to him, “ Animals are Unbelievably interesting to paint because they have so much personality. As I observe them, I believe I can almost see what they are thinking.”
He started taking photographs at Zoo. Then he would paint the animals by looking back at his pictures and journal notes. He even got permission at the US zoo to go behind the scenes to study animals closely.
Then he decided to give up on zoos and go for the real things. He first visited the national park of South Africa and had many new experiences. There he observed wildlife and landscapes very closely. His work has improved after visiting South Africa and observing the wildlife and landscapes with his eyes.
