It is quite hard to believe that a 12-year-old boy can make apps and run a company. But, the young boy Kedar Narayan will make you accept this. Kedar Narayan is a 12-years-old boy who has already found a company. He loves three things the most: Coding, Mathematics, and Problem Solving. He has also mastered these things and combined them to create different apps and websites.
Early Life Of Kedar Narayan
When Kedar was too young, his mom used to help him with coding as she is a computer scientist. She quit her job to teach Kedar because he homeschooled. His father is a biochemist, and he works from home. He has a little brother who is three years old.
Kedar always learned maths in a standard way since he was too young. His mom told him that she would teach him from home and she brought some CDs for Kedar. He was taught Vedic maths techniques through which one can do maths quickly in the head. Kedar always prioritized understanding the things he learned and applying it.
Kedar Narayan, Founder Of ‘Heart For Wildlife’
‘Heart For Wildlife’ is about selling nature-friendly products that focus on helping the environment. Before he found the company, he created an app because there was a big problem. The insects, called pollinators, were under substantial endangerment as around 75% of them were declined. Pollinators spread pollen from flower to flower and significantly speed the flower growth. Pollinators include bees, butterflies, birds, etc. Kedar’s app, ‘Pollinator For A Pet,’ was about helping them, providing them and food resources. More than a hundred people downloaded the app. After that, he did this business to expand his reach.
The child prodigy Kedar is also into the ‘LaunchBox’ Program. The program is like a place where you can meet a lot of mentors. These mentors will guide you and give you advice about what to do.
Kedar says “It is essential to have a mentor because your mentors play a huge role in your success. The program is about having your ideas, solving your customers’ problems, and then finding out what you want to do with your company. It is a very helpful program.”
