The body control and graceful movements strike the viewers first when Sofia begins to skate. It becomes all the more impressive once you see how quickly she can move her feet on the wheels. 

How Sofia Got Introduced To Skating?

Sofia Bogdanova was born on August 6, 2005, in Moscow, Russia. Her parents enlisted her in ice skating when she was 4. The little girl developed a keen interest in Roller skating at a very young age. She has been roller skating since she was only 7-years-old.

The child prodigy, Sofia, has already won different roller skating championships in Europe. She practices five times a week. The young champion can’t live without roller skates because it’s her passion. 

Recognition and Tremendous Success | Sofia Bogdanova

The young Roller skater finished in first place in the junior category of the Czech Freestyle World Cup. She later appeared on Little Big Shots Australia and caught the attention of millions of people. The child prodigy, Sofia won the Roller Club Cup 2013 when she was 9. At the CFWC, she performed Amy Lee’s song, “Bring Me to Life.” The young champion is a member of the Russian National Team.

She is also a 6-time World and 9-time European champion slalom skater. In 2017, she performed in SSO Junior Women Classic Slalom held in Shanghai. Committing to Lindsey Stirling’s violin’s music, Bogdanova executed excellent skating skills and the right balance. Sofia’s 2018 Paris Slalom World Championship performance in the Junior Women’s Classic category was just fantastic, and she was also the winner for that year. The young freestyle skater always wows the crowd with her impressive performances.

Sofia Bogdanova received the Global Child Prodigy award in January 2020 for her fitness. Her name was among the top 100 prodigies of the world. She was delighted to receive the award as it was one of her most significant achievements.
